So by now you should ALL have read about Big C's shocking experience in Hong Kong. So I was thinking about what we, the people can do to help Charlie out, aside from spreading the word.
So I have a suggestion, I'm going to send Charlie some money via one of his friends who is based out in Hong Kong to help him out and keep him ticking until someone pulls their damn finger out and helps him out. If anyone else wants to help out, they are most welcome to (the sentiment that has come through his blog is that people do want to help).
Let's not get it twisted, this is damn serious: a British national that the British authorities in Hong Kong are refusing to provide help to. Isn't that their job? Maybe I'm just being naive.
So this is how we're going to roll:
1. If you would like to help Charlie out donate using the ChipIn widget or if you prefer to do a bank transfer (within the UK of course) send me an email at samismail [at] yahoo [dot] com and I'll get the payment stuff sorted.

I know I said I'd sort Charlie when I see him, but I might be in the US next week so I've bunged over some cash on your Kiva/Paypal thing to hopefully help tied him over till this horrid situation gets sorted out.
